This service enables authorized users to request a non-traditional course site in the Learning Management System (LMS) for courses not residing in Sault College’s Course Information System (e.g., workshops, professional development). The IT team configures the site using provided details, including purpose, course name, facilitators (up to two), sections, and start/end dates. Facilitators can add other college employees to the site. This similiar to a course sandbox, however, sandboxes are meant for prepartion and non-traditional courses are meant for course delivery.
Request a Sandbox course in the LMS for development, testing, or copying course content.
Note: Existing timetabled courses can be repurposed as an alternative.
This service allows Academic Assistants to submit a ticket after uploading new or revised course outlines to the SharePoint site. IT downloads the outlines, ensures they are named correctly (COURSECODE_Course_Outline.pdf) and makes them available on LMS to be added to courses.
Request multiple sections of the same course be merged into the lowest number section.
Academic Assistants, Coordinators and Managers can request to merge program sites or add staff to an existing program site.
Request a Program or Course End Date Extension.
Managers, Academic Assistants and Coordinators can use this service to request enrolments in LMS (NOT Instructor role). Student Services can use this service to request Notetaker enrolments in LMS. CICE can use this service to request enrolments in LMS for their area.
