Evolve Link: Adding Evolve Content to D2L Brightspace

Evolve Link allows for linking to Evolve content through a Learning Management System (LMS). Evolve Link has already been configured by the college's LMS Administrator and so is available in our environment.  The linked document below will walk you through adding Evolve content into Brightspace by D2L through Evolve Link.

How do I login to LMS?

LMS login only required if you are not already logged into Office 365. To log into LMS, you can either use the button on the Student Portal or https://welearn.saultcollege.ca If you experience any problem accessing LMS, please create a ticket in TeamDynamix.

LMS - Updating Course End Dates (Course Updater)

Faculty may want students to access the course beyond the end date previously assigned, in order to update this date we need to use Course Updater.  We aren't suppose to change the end date a course unless we are directed to via a ticket from an authorized user.

LMS Course Merge Request

If you are teaching a course that has multiple sections you can request that these courses be merged into the lowest section number.  This offers you the benefit consolidating your work into one course.  Ensure to enter your requests as early as possible to so merges can be completed in advance of the course start date.

Student use of Solidworks for Academic purposes

Solidworks is available for students through AppsAnywhere or by installing the take-home version.

X Grades in LMS - How long will students have access

At semester completion not all students are able to complete their course work, at which time faculty have the option of providing an X grade to the students.
