Request Access to an LMS Course Site That Your Are Not Scheduled In

The “Request Access to an LMS Course Site” service allows Faculty, Coordinators, Academic staff and Administrators to request access to an existing course in the Learning Management System (LMS) when they are not automatically enrolled through timetabling. This includes access to courses taught by another instructor, past or previous semester courses, non‑timetabled courses, or approved Reader/Auditor access. NOTE: This Service is not meant to request new course creations.  Please see your department if you have a question about an Academic scheduled course.

Who can request this service?

Faculty members, Program Coordinators, Academic staff and Administrators

When is this service available?

Available 24/7 through the TeamDynamix Service Portal, with processing during IT Service Desk business hours (Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM).

Before you request this service, you will need to…

  • Confirm the purpose of the access (e.g., instructional support, program coordination, reviewing past course materials, or Reader/Auditor access).

  • If requesting access to another instructor’s course, your Dean or Chair will need to provide their approval, as required by policy.

  • If requesting Coordinator access, ensure you are listed on the current Coordinator’s List for the program.

  • If requesting Reader/Auditor access, ensure that the Dean or Chair submit or approve the request.

  • If you are scheduled to teach the course but not yet timetabled, please work with your department to verify that the scheduling request has be completed (updates run overnight Sunday, Monday–Thursday).  We can not provide access, manually, to a course you will scheduled to teach.

Note to Requestors:

Access is granted based on role, program area guidelines, and Dean or Chair approval requirements. This service is not used for HR, Legal, or investigative access to academic instructional assets. Those requests must follow the Administrative Access to Academic Instructional Assets policy and be submitted through the appropriate administrative process.
