AppsAnywhere - How to install AppsAnywhere on your personal computer

Overview

The college distributes software through an online software portal called AppsAnywhere.  If software to support your program is available on this resource these instructions will help you get started. 

Note: The starting point to accessing your software is through this web portal, but once the software is launched it will behave as a standard installed application.  The software access will be governed by license availability and the location software is being used.

Instructions

• Navigate to https://appsanywhere.saultcollege.ca from a web browser of your choice
• Login in using your Sault College credentials
  • Username
    • Students: {studentnumber@saultcollege.ca}
    • Staff: {username@saultcollege.ca}
       
• If this is your first time using AppsAnywhere on your computer, you will be prompted with the message:
  Is AppsAnywhere installed on your device?
  • Click Install Now
     

NOTE: You may also see this message if you are using a different web browser then the first time you used AppsAnywere.  If this is the case:

• Click I have it already

You will now be guided on installing the AppsAnywhere and Cloudpaging software

STEPS

1. Download the software
2. Locate the downloaded software, and run the file to start the installation.
   • During the installation process of AppsAnywhere you will see that the Cloudpaging client also gets installed
      
3. Click Next until Done appears.
    

IMPORTANT: AppsAnywhere needs to be installed with Administrator Access.

NOTE:

• When the installation is complete, come back to the above webpage and click I have completed installation
• You will only need to install this the first time you use AppsAnywhere on your computer.

You will now be presented with the AppsAnywhere Portal where you can Launch any application you have access to.
