    1. Navigate to www.office.com to access your web email
      1. Locate the email or ticket with the license file
      2. Save the license file locally.
  2. If it is a zip file, extract it, otherwise proceed to the next step.
  3. On the same machine (vmssah01p) login to the Cloudpaging Server Admin Portal (Cloudpaging Server (saultcollege.ca)), which is appsanywhere-admin.saultcollege.ca/jukeboxserver/showDashboard.do
      • Username = admin
      • Password = <Sent on request, if required>

  6. Navigate to the saved license file and select it.

  9. Check and verify the details on the Product License Key page.
  10. Navigate to Cloudpaging > Systems Services.
  11. Stagger the restart of the Cloudpaging services on all but the Admin service you are connected to.
  • Click on the checkbox next to 1 Admin, 1 License and 1 Paging service (or half the number for each service).
  • Click on Stop.
  • Wait for the services to stop (you may need to refresh the page).
  • Select all the stopped services.
  • Click on Start.
  • Repeat the restart for the other half of servers or number 2.

NOTE: Providing the restart is staggered (e.g. half the admin services then the other half) there will be no outage for end users if the system is setup with a load balancer that uses Health Checks. Otherwise, there will be a momentary outage while the service restarts.

It should also be noted that it is not possible (or required) to restart the Cloudpaging Admin Service you are connected to it. A message will be displayed if this is attempted: "Cannot stop Server_Admin service locally".

The license only needs to be applied once and the update procedure is complete after the services have restarted.
