This document describes how to patch an appset in Cloudpaging Studio or Upgrade an app to a new version, and the steps required to deploy the patched/upgraded version of the app to both new and existing users (via AppsAnywhere).

Some programs, when run from
https://appsanywhere.saultcollege.ca, get blocked by Security Software (AV)) companies. These files are created at Sault College or in cooperation with Software2 the vendor for AppsAnywhere. Because these files are assembled in house the AV companies have no baseline to determine if they are a threat. Allowing software run from AppsAnywhere is safe but be cautious of other programs you may download from the Internet..

At Sault College we redirect a number of folders from the local location to a network location (MyDocuments, Pictures, Music, Videos, Nethood and Desktop). AppsAnywhere is unable to store data in Network locations because it can't use sources that aren't local to the device. Fortunately this is easy to work around, below is an example of how this worked when packaging of Solid Works.
