LMS - Manual Enrollements

Manual Enrollments, for students into timetabled courses, are never done in LMS where an automation is slated to pick up and process the enrollment. 

The Holding Tank, overnight process, will undo any Student manual enrollments and correct the database by updating enrollments in LMS to match the enrollments in the Holding Tank.

Manual Enrollments, for students into timetabled courses, are never done in LMS where an automation is slated to pick up and process the enrollment. 

The Holding Tank, overnight process, will undo any Student manual enrollments and correct the database by updating enrollments in LMS to match the enrollments in the Holding Tank. 

Use these instructions, only in extenuating circumstances.  One example where this was permissible was during the RYUK ransomware cyber attack when these system were turned off.

Instructions

• Log into LMS, https://welearn.saultcollege.ca 
• Click on the Cog Wheel, then select Users from the menu. 

 

 

• In the Search box, type in the Student number. 
• Click on the drop down, to the right of the Student’s Name 

• Choose Manage User Enrollments 

 

• Search for the Course and section you want to add them too.

• Using the pencil, in the Role column, 

• Select and Apply Student role for Section and Course Offering 

• Close when done 

• Search for the next student, repeats steps 1 through 7 for the entire class list.
