A scheduled ticket has been create for this renewal that contains all ordering information needed. The schedule was created in my name (Randy), so you would need to use your Admin access to navigate and see this schedule. Schedules are not global but are specific to the person who created them.
Make sure to verify you have the newest versions, and the faculty is aware it is being upgraded.
- Navigate to https://packaging.software2.com
- Login
- Search for RetScreen
- Compare current version with new version. If a new version is available and AppsAnywhere doesn't have it available to download, submit a request to them for packaging
- This product is configured for AutoApp Licensing and a New License will have to be created and applied to the package.
- If you only have the older version, you can apply the new license to the older version, until AppsAnywhere can provide the update.

Renewing the AutoApp Licenses
This is AppsAnywhere's instructions on appying the RETScreen Expert license. It is a bit lacking, so see instructions below.
After the renewal has been completed, RetScreen will send you a detailed email with an attached license key in the format of *.rkey, within a maximum of 2 days after receiving our order.

- Download and store the new license key in a new current year dated folder, in the Solutions Specialist - General > Software > RETScreen Teams Channel


- In the left menu, under Applications
- Click Automated app licensing
- Search for the existing RetScreen License file
- Either, click the link RetScreen License or Edit on the right side, to open the settings

- Change the License Expiration date to be the last Friday in March for the new License year.

- Click Browse and navigate to the new License file you saved in the above step in the Solutions Specialist - General > Software > RETScreen Teams Channel. This is where all software licensing details are saved.

- Select the new License file
- Click Open
- Click the Update license button

- You will see a confirmation that the changes were successful

- TEST
- Log out of your Appsanywhere session and log back in, to ensure you are working off the new update
- Launch RETScreen Expert {version number}, from AppsAnywhere

- Load a Blank Project
- If it loads we can be certain that the license key is working
- In the left Pane, click Help
- Verify the Licesne date and the version you are running

- If it is current then all is well
