This article is created to document the process of creating a new license server instance for Rockwell and managing it in the end.
License Server Infrastructure
Joe Beharriel / Kevin Martin
Active Server - MVMLICA04P
- CNAME - LICROCKWELL
- IP - 10.81.1.110
Testing Server - (TEST for Rockwell Products - created April 21/21)
VMLICX03P
This test server was setup by Joe to allow us to test out the new Factory Talk Activation Manager and a new Rockwell Image
- Academic Licensing Server
- 1vCPUs/8 GB/60 GB OS disk; Server 2022 21H2
- Access via Remote Desktop to server restricted to members of SCIT-Infrastructure and SCIT-SolutionSpecialists
The plan is to migrate this license server over from MVMLICA04P when we're done and retire the old one.
- rename this server to MVMLICA04P and the CNAMEs would continue to work.
